About the Founder
Shannon Sonneveldt
Hello there! I am beyond delighted to introduce myself and share how my journey led to creating Balanced 4 Success.
Life often presents us with unexpected obstacles - mine was in the form of invisible illnesses that sidelined me for quite some time - yet, these challenges only strengthened me more! Challenges were some of my greatest teachers. One important skill they taught me was how to come up with creative solutions in various situations - and little did I realize this would become one of my go-to strategies in navigating life's ups and downs.
My faith is my anchor, reminding me to love and serve others even when life becomes challenging. With a background in psychology, human resources, change and project management, I've dedicated nearly 30 years to learning, growing and helping others in corporate America. But only when my health challenges, loss of loved ones and caregiver obligations showed me the true meaning of balance did I understand its significance.
Balanced 4 Success came into being with this realization. Too often we are trying to manage multiple areas - faith, family, career and health - at once without prioritizing one or another properly. If this sounds familiar to you, I want to convey one key idea: success doesn't need to come at the cost of health or values.
